The Fowey to Mevagissey passenger ferry runs daily from 25th April through September, weather and sea conditions permitting. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. As well as offering a convenient public transport link between the two towns, it offers a great day out to holidaymakers based on one or other side of St Austell Bay. Both locations are ideal for a day’s shopping, exploring and/or walking.
For those staying in the Fowey/Lostwithiel/Looe areas, it offers an ideal way to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a delightful 45 min walk or a short bus ride from Mevagissey. A return trip costs £14 and a single trip costs £7. Dogs are carried free of charge.
